Where the money paid into tracked casino wallets really comes from and where it goes next, found by reading one step behind each deposit address: the exchange or payment service, the player’s own wallet, or another casino’s payout wallet. It also pairs cash-outs that went straight into another casino (casino hops) and lists every large transfer that was not a player.

These are transfers into and out of public casino wallets, read from the chains themselves and valued in dollars at the hour they happened. They cover only the wallets we can attribute, so deposits are a lower bound; withdrawals can include a casino moving its own money, so net flow is not profit, and the house take is an estimate with a range. Every wallet and rule is on the data page. For what we think of each casino read the casino reviews, and if deposits are something you are trying to cut down, our responsible gambling guide is the place to start.

Casino money flow FAQ

Updated 5 questions
How can you tell where a deposit came from?

Casinos give every player a deposit address, so for the biggest deposit addresses we read one step further back: who paid into them, and where else they send money. A payer behind hundreds of different deposit addresses is an exchange or payment service. A payer that is another casino’s payout wallet is money moved from casino to casino. The rest are wallets the player controls. Exchange names come from public tags and are display only; whether a payer is an exchange is decided by how it behaves. A deposit address that has not been linked yet is shown as not yet linked, never guessed.

What is a casino hop?

A cash-out from one casino that went straight into a deposit address at another tracked casino: the same address, coin and amount appear as a withdrawal at one casino and a deposit at the next. The map draws ribbons from the casino the money left to the casino it reached; the tables show the busiest routes, who gains and who loses on balance, the usual time between leaving and arriving, and the share of all withdrawals that went straight to another casino. There and back pairs a hop one way with a hop the other way of nearly the same amount within a day: likely the same money, not proof of the same person.

What are the large transfers that were not a player, and the own desks?

Transfers of $50,000 or more are left out of the net flow figure and listed here instead, because a big payout to an address with no deposit on record can be a player’s fresh address or the casino moving its own money, and the chain alone does not say. An own desk is an unlabelled address that both pays a casino and is paid by it in large, roughly equal amounts; it behaves like the casino’s own trading desk or treasury rather than a player, so its transfers are left out in both directions. Every such address is listed with an explorer link so anyone can check it.

What does “money that went straight back out” mean?

A deposit followed within minutes by a withdrawal of the same amount from the same casino, or the same two addresses paired again and again, is money passing through rather than money staying to be played. Both sides stay in the deposit and withdrawal totals, because they are real transfers, but the board shows the amount next to them and a deposits without it figure, so a casino’s week is never carried by money that only touched its wallet.

Which casino deals with which exchange, and what does that tell me?

The matrix counts direct transfers between a casino’s labelled wallets and named exchange wallets: money received from the exchange and money sent to it. A casino wallet paying an exchange directly is the casino moving its own money, whether cashing out, topping up or paying a desk, so these transfers sit under the casino’s own moves and not under deposits or withdrawals. A player withdrawing to their personal exchange deposit address looks different and is still counted as a withdrawal. Where the money goes sorts every priced transfer through the wallets the same way: players, exchanges, the casino’s own wallets, cold storage, other casinos and fee money.
