What this result does not say
The output is a progress conversion, not a forecast of time, loss, profit or rewards. It assumes the percentage in your account is current and that every future wager qualifies at the selected rate.
VIP status does not change a game’s probability. Chasing a rank can cost more than any reward; set a budget independently of this calculator.

What does the Stake VIP progress calculator do, and where do its numbers come from?
It converts your current Stake VIP rank and the progress percentage shown in your account into the wager still needed for the next rank. The 15 thresholds it uses — Bronze at $10,000 up to Obsidian at $1,000,000,000 — are the figures published on Stake's VIP program help page, stored in this page and last checked on 20 August 2026. The arithmetic runs in your browser and reads nothing from your account.
How does the calculator work out the wager still needed?
It subtracts your current rank's threshold from the next rank's, removes the share already completed, then divides what is left by 1 for casino or 3 for sports — the three steps Stake sets out in its help centre. Silver at 20% comes out as ($100,000 − $50,000) × 80% ÷ 3 = $13,334 in sports mode. The rate is applied only to the outstanding progress, never to what you have already banked.
What does the progress percentage on Stake apply to?
It applies to the gap between your current rank and the next one, not to your lifetime wagering. Gold sits at $100,000 and Platinum I at $250,000, so the whole of that step is $150,000 of casino wagering. A Gold account showing 40% has $60,000 of the step behind it and $90,000 to go. Enter the figure your account displays, not a share of the next rank's total threshold.
Where do I find my VIP progress percentage on Stake?
Stake's help centre says the percentage appears on the homepage once you are logged in; copy that figure into the progress field. The calculator has no link to your account and cannot read it, so the result is only as current as the number you type. A percentage read hours ago will overstate the wager still to place if you have wagered since.
How much do I need to wager to go from Bronze to Silver on Stake?
$40,000 of casino wagering from a standing start — Silver's $50,000 threshold minus Bronze's $10,000 — or $13,334 of sports wagering at the published 3× rate. Part-way through, the remainder falls in proportion: at 45% progress the calculator returns $22,000 casino or $7,334 sports. The Load a worked example button loads Bronze at 45% and switches to sports; Stake's own guide works the same case through to $22,000.
Do sports bets count more toward Stake VIP progress?
Yes. Stake's published note says wagering $1 on sports is equivalent to $3 in regular wagering calculations, so the sports figure here is the remaining progress divided by three. That is why the ladder shows $40,000 of casino wagering for Silver but $13,334 of sports. The rate is Stake's, not ours, and Stake can change it; this ladder was checked on 20 August 2026.
Can I use it if I play both casino games and sports?
Not in a single pass — each mode assumes every remaining wager qualifies at that rate. Split the plan instead: run the casino portion at 1×, run the rest at 3×, and add the two figures. Stake's guidance for mixed play is to work out your total wager amount from your transaction history, because the account has already applied both rates to what you staked.
What are all 15 Stake VIP ranks and their wager requirements?
Bronze $10,000, Silver $50,000, Gold $100,000, Platinum I to VI from $250,000 to $10,000,000, Diamond I to V from $25,000,000 to $500,000,000, and Obsidian at $1,000,000,000. Those are cumulative wagering totals, not per-rank amounts. The reference ladder on this page shows each rank's gap from the one below and what that gap costs at the casino and sports rates.
Can it show the wager needed for a rank two or more steps up?
No — the result covers the next rank only, which is what the next rank only label on the Result panel means. For a target further up, subtract your current threshold from the target's in the ladder table. Bronze to Platinum I is $250,000 − $10,000 = $240,000 of casino wagering, or $80,000 at the sports rate, regardless of the ranks passed on the way.
Why is the result rounded, and what happens at the top rank?
The wager rounds up to the next whole dollar so the estimate never understates what is left: $7,333.33 is shown as $7,334. The percentage field accepts 0 to 99.99, since 100% would mean the rank is already complete. Obsidian is the last published threshold, so it is the ceiling of the ladder and is not offered as a current rank.
Are my inputs saved, uploaded or linked to my Stake account?
No. The rank, percentage and mode are used for arithmetic inside the page and nothing else: the engine sends no request, sets no cookie and writes to no browser storage. The thresholds ship inside the page as a JSON block rather than being fetched, and every calculator on the tools hub runs on an engine with the same three restrictions.
Does it tell me what the next rank is worth, or how long it will take?
No. It returns one number, the qualifying wager still to place, and says nothing about time, cost or reward. Stake's VIP rewards — rakeback, weekly boosts, reloads for Platinum players and monthly bonuses — are set by Stake on terms this page does not model. A higher rank does not change any game's odds, and the wager still carries a house edge; our Stake RTP tracker measures actual return against the advertised figure.
How is this different from the Shuffle VIP progress calculator?
This one counts dollars against 15 published Stake thresholds; the Shuffle version counts XP against 54 stored levels. Shuffle publishes 1 XP per $1 of casino wagering and 3 XP per $1 on sports, e-sports and novelties at odds of 1.1 or greater — a condition Stake's flat 3× does not carry. The engine, the rounding and the local-only behaviour are identical.
Method: thresholds are stored locally from the official Stake tables linked above; the page sends no calculator input anywhere.
