FindingChips.gg has a real product, a decent headline rating and a handful of specific complaints of exactly the kind CasinoDrop weighs most heavily. Playable with a small balance; not a place to hold one.

Chips.gg has been live since around 2021 under Notyarg Ltd on an Anjouan licence, which makes it one of the longer-running sites in this series. The floor is 5,000-plus games from 40-plus providers, with 13 provably fair Chips Originals, Evolution live dealer and a sportsbook with esports. The loyalty layer is a five-tier ladder from Flipper through Collector, Stacker and Hoarder to the invite-only Tycoon, with rakeback credited instantly on every bet at every tier rather than settled weekly. An independent test that wagered USD 25,000 recorded 23.5% of theoretical loss returned, rising to 29.5% with lossback. The Vault claims to distribute 50% of casino profits quarterly to $CHIP stakers.

The trust record is where the score falls. Trustpilot shows 4.0 from around 359 reviews, above the segment average, with a complaint cluster around KYC enforcement and unexplained restrictions. One detailed account describes a withdrawal blocked, verification shown as approved in the app and denied by support at the same time, funds returned to play, and then a ban with about USD 5,000 confiscated on an allegation of a Hi-Lo “exploit” with no clause cited and no evidence supplied. A well-known affiliate site terminated its relationship citing practices unfair to players. One review describes a level-five requirement to withdraw; another describes a management change with long-serving staff dismissed. The licence number has not been independently confirmed on a register.

Our answer: the rakeback is real and the games are fine. Keep the balance small, withdraw often, and do not play with anything you cannot afford to have frozen while someone decides whether normal play was an exploit.

Licence, ownership & who can play

FindingA named operator on an Anjouan licence whose number CasinoDrop and other reviewers could not confirm on a register. Put the number in the footer.

Chips.gg is run by Notyarg Ltd under a licence from the Government of the Autonomous Island of Anjouan. That is the operator’s statement; no reviewer CasinoDrop found has matched a licence number to the Anjouan register, and one aggregator flags the licence as unverified for that reason. Anjouan provides a regulator to contact and no dispute body. A player who asked Chips.gg for alternative dispute resolution details in a documented case reports receiving none.

Who can play

The restricted list is long: the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark and several others. The site blocks restricted regions at the door, and full KYC is required to register a new account according to one reviewer.

Fairness & published RTP

FindingProvably fair Originals with seed and nonce history; third-party games on studio certification. “Horrible RTP” complaints describe variance. The exploit allegation is a different problem.

The 13 Chips Originals expose seed data and nonce history so every outcome can be recomputed. Third-party games rely on their studios’ certified RNGs. Trustpilot posts claiming the games “don’t pay” describe losing sessions, and CasinoDrop gives them no weight without bet IDs.

What CasinoDrop does weigh is the documented case in which a player used Hi-Lo as presented, won, and was banned for an “exploit” after the fact with no clause or evidence supplied. A game offered on the lobby, played as designed, cannot be reclassified as abuse retrospectively without the operator showing its working. Until Chips.gg does, that case is the single most important fact in this review.
