Bitcoin Spot ETFs Inflows Surging
Bitcoin spot exchange-traded funds in the U.S. experienced a significant increase in inflows, with 12 spot Bitcoin ETFs seeing inflows of $192.56 million on Aug. 8. This surge was over four times higher compared to the previous day’s inflows of $45.14 million, according to data from SoSoValue. BlackRock’s IBIT and WisdomTree’s BTCW led the way with substantial inflows, while other offerings also saw positive flows.
Ethereum ETFs Facing Net Outflows
On the other hand, Ethereum ETFs saw net outflows of $2.9 million on the same day, with Grayscale’s ETHE fund experiencing the largest outflows. While certain ETH ETFs recorded some inflows, overall, Ethereum ETFs faced consecutive days of outflows, albeit at a lower rate compared to the previous day. Trading volume for these ETFs saw a slight increase, but cumulative net outflows for Ethereum ETFs remained significant.
