The number of active addresses on Base Blockchain has surged to over 1.964 million, a substantial rise from the year-to-date low of 196,000. Additionally, the number of transactions on the network has increased to 4.8 million, up from less than 300,000 in January.
Base Blockchain’s Dominance in DeFi and DEX
In the decentralized finance industry, Base Blockchain boasts 348 dApps and a total value locked of $1.57 billion, ranking it as the sixth-largest chain. The network also stands as the third-largest in the decentralized exchange sector, with its dApps processing a volume of $3 billion in the last seven days, surpassing competitors like Arbitrum.
