Arbitrum Foundation, Ubisoft, and Sequence Collaborate on Captain Laserhawk: The G.A.M.E.
Arbitrum Foundation has partnered with Ubisoft and Sequence to introduce a new game named ‘Captain Laserhawk: The G.A.M.E.’ This game is built on the ARB blockchain and serves as an extension of ‘Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix,’ a popular game series produced by Ubisoft for Netflix.
The G.A.M.E. Utilizes Arbitrum Blockchain
Set to launch on Aug. 6, ‘Captain Laserhawk: The G.A.M.E.’ will leverage the Arbitrum blockchain for its core features, benefiting from the platform’s scalability and user onboarding technology. Additionally, the game will incorporate Sequence’s blockchain tooling and will include characters from renowned franchise titles like Assassin’s Creed and Rayman.
Arbitrum Sees Growth in Gaming Ecosystem
Nina Rong, head of ecosystem development at Arbitrum Foundation, expressed excitement about the collaboration with Ubisoft and the potential for further development in the blockchain network’s gaming ecosystem. The launch of the $215 million incentive program in June 2024 aims to drive gaming development on Arbitrum, with top games on the network including Rumble Racing Star and Crypto Unicorns.
