Top Platforms for Crypto News and Updates
A recent survey conducted by CoinGecko has identified X, Telegram, and YouTube as the leading platforms where the crypto community gathers news and updates. The study, which took place between June 25 and July 8, revealed that these three platforms collectively constitute 84% of where crypto enthusiasts obtain their information.
Social Media Preference for Crypto Investors
Crypto investors show a strong preference for social media platforms when seeking news and updates. X, YouTube, and Telegram emerge as the top choices for 34%, 23.4%, and 16% of respondents, respectively. Despite X being the most popular platform overall, fewer than half of its users consider it their primary social media space for crypto discussions.
User Engagement on Social Media Platforms
The survey showcases a significant level of user engagement on social media platforms among the crypto community. Telegram and YouTube also see comparable levels of activity, with 21.5% and 20.8% of participants spending a significant amount of time on these platforms. These findings highlight the importance of social media in shaping crypto discussions and awareness.
