Decentralized Exchange (DEX) PancakeSwap Airdrops 2.4 Million ZK Tokens
PancakeSwap, a DEX protocol, has announced a massive airdrop of 2.4 million ZKSync (ZK) tokens to its users. This airdrop is a reward for the continued support of the platform’s community, including longstanding contributors and new users engaging with the DEX platform.
PancakeSwap ZK Airdrop Period
The airdrop commenced on July 5 and will continue until August 5, 2024. Any unclaimed tokens at the end of this period will be reallocated to the ecosystem for future development and community initiatives.
Allocation of ZK Tokens
PancakeSwap has divided eligible users into three groups for the allocation of the 2.4 million ZK tokens: veCAKE holders, past contributors, and future contributors. VeCAKE holders will receive 26.5% of the airdrop, past ecosystem contributors 27%, and future contributors 46.5%. The snapshot period for veCAKE holders and past contributors spans from July 26, 2023, to June 26, 2024. Additionally, PancakeSwap deployed on ZKsync in July 2023, resulting in significant growth and key achievements such as seamless Swaps, yield farming, and the launch of Prediction Markets.
